A mini model of the Ford Post Office Telephone van.
Lines Brothers Ltd made this model Ford Post Office Telephone van under the trade name Tri-Ang. Three brothers, William, Walter and Arthur Lines, established the toy company in 1919. Since three 'lines' make a triangle, they decided to use the name Tri-Ang. The firm's original factory was on the Old Kent Road, but in 1924, Lines Brothers moved to new, modern and larger premises in Merton.
