A side view of a rectangular box with a wooden carcass. The top and sides of the box are decorated with quillwork and painted landscapes in oval reserves. The lid of the box is decorated inside with a vase of 3-D fabric flowers. The box contains three layers of small shaped silk covered card boxes; the cover of each is worked with an example of a decorative technique, including embroidery, ribbon work, featherwork and the use of coloured foils.
