The Woman's Press Shop, 156 Charing Cross Road. The Charing Cross Road premises comprised 12 rooms, a basement and shop. Its central London location, only 'three doors away from Oxford Street' was chosen to 'attract the ordinary passer-by'. The Woman's Press published propaganda literature and the Votes for Women newspaper. Also for sale in the shop were a range of goods in the purple, white and green colour scheme.
