A printed poster announcing a Grand Polish Fete and balloon ascent by Mr Green to take place in the grounds of Cremorne Pleasure Gardens on August 17th. The year is not printed on the poster but it is probably 1840. Events taking place this day include a Grand Concert and 'two races'.
