A poster printed on green paper advertising the 'Original Elia Howe' sewing machine produced by 'The Howe Machine Co., Limited 150 Cheapside, which was responsible for sewing the Czar balloon. On the reverse of the bill is handwritten 'These bills were thrown from the car of Mr Simmons's balloon the Czar, the first night he ascended with M De Groof the flying man from the grounds of Cremorne Gardens June 29th 1874 - these bills were supplied by the manufacturer of the balloon - I saw this ascent'
