A fragment of a plaster of Paris (calcium sulphate) 'erotic' relief tile, with Sooting on the reverse. The tile depicts a man, lying on his back on a couch. Either side of his torso are the legs of a woman, which he is holding apart. The lower part of his body and the upper part of hers are missing. From a fireplace on the upper storey of Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, 145 Fleet Street EC4.
