Picking fruit on One Tree Hill.
One Tree Hill is a well known local landmark near Honor Oak Station, with fine views in all directions across London.
The One Tree Hill Allotment Society, was formed during the Second World War's Dig for Victory campaign. Having an allotment on a steep clay hillside means terracing and lots of mulching are absolutely essential parts of daily life. The site gets full sun from sunrise till late in the afternoon.
