This little building with its fancy brickwork and a high, vaulted roof was built about 1630 and was built as a garden-house, or orangery in the front garden of Charlton House.
It is generally believed to have been designed by the architect Inigo Jones.
In 1937 it was converted into a public toilet and is now a Grade I listed building
