Purple, white and green sash inscribed 'Votes for Women' with metal badge. Part of the collection of objects relating to the Suffragette Movement, given by the Suffragette Fellowship, 1950.
The initials NWSPU stand for the 'National Women's Social and Political Union' which was created after the split with the Pankhursts by Charlotte Despard, Edith How-Martyn and Teresa Billington-Greig in 1907.
