Guy's Hospital is a large NHS hospital near London Bridge Station. It is administratively a part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. It is a large teaching hospital and is home to the King's College London School of Medicine and Dentistry. It is tallest hospital building in the World, standing at 153m.
The hospital was founded in 1721 by Thomas Guy (1644/45–27 December 1724),and was originally established as a hospital to treat "incurables" discharged from St Thomas' Hospital.
