This 18th century map of Africa pinpoints many of the important slavery sites including Goree, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Gold Coast and Loanda. Although quite small, it gives a good sense of this large continent's coastal districts as well as vast inland areas. The map is also useful for the East African slave trade marking sites such as Zanzibar, Pemba and the island of Mauritius.
