An engraving of Oliver Cromwell. The writing below the figure reads Oliverus Cromwell, Rex Independentium, Angliae Tyrannus. There is also a small coat of arms in the title.
Cromwell is wearing armour and holding a staff. On top left of the engraving is small illustration showing his body hanging from a scaffold. On the top right hand corner there is an illustration of Cromwell's head and those of two others on spikes above a building.
