Prehistoric hunting of aurochs from arond 1800 BC. This artist's impression shows hunters killing the forest-dwelling aurochs, which had just been flushed out into an ambush in the open. This reconstruction was based on recent excavations at Holloway Lane in Hillingdon, London.
