The banner depicts the masks of comedy and tragedy framed by wreaths and ribbons stencilled in the AFL colours of pink and green.
Formed in 1908 the Actresses' Franchise League was open to anyone involved in the theatrical profession who supported female suffrage. The organisation attracted both militants and non-militants.
