A group of Chinese men enter the East & West Chinese Restaurant in Limehouse. The Chinese restaurant trade, which previously catered mainly to the local Chinese population, boomed in the 1950s. Limehouse was the original East End Chinatown. The area was heavily damaged during the Blitz and the Chinese community gradually moved west into Soho.
