Cheaply produced comic valentine's card comprising a single sheet of paper printed with an uncoloured sketch of a man wearing a padlock secured to his trousers and the caption 'My wife calls this locking up the place when she goes out'. In the background the wife is leaving through the door, key in hand. Below is an eight line comic verse warning the recipient this will be his fate if he becomes the sender's valentine.
