Shillibeer's Omnibus: A new carriage on the Parisian mode, for the conveyance of inside passengers from Paddington to the Bank', horse drawn omnibus with passengers. George Shillibeer was a coachbuilder who introduced the omnibus to London. He started his first service on 4th July 1829 between Paddington along the New Road to Bank, the fare was a shilling.
