Selection of Whitefriars vases. From right to left: Vase in Tangerine cased in Flint glass, square section cylinder, textured on two facing sides, with heavy base, ground and fire polished rim. Designed by Geoffrey Baxter in 1967; Vase in Sky Blue glass with diaper pattern of encased air bubbles, five lobed cylinder shaped with heavy base, tapering inwards to rim; Vase in Ruby cased in Flint glass, from the textured 'Bark' range, cylindrical with heavy base and fire polished rim. Designed by Geoffrey Baxter in 1967; Vase in Twilight smoky glass, elongated tumbler shape with polished bevelled rim, decorated with semi-polished intaglio cutting with fish and strands of weed; Vase in Heather 'Streaky' glass. Streaked with purple and green, from 'Knobbly' range with heavy free form cylindrical shape, widening to rim and with heavy base.
1960 AD - 1970 AD
