Window cut millefiori paperweights designed by Geoffrey Baxter in the 1970s. Millefiori are many coloured glass rods or canes that have been fused together to form a pattern or design, and embedded in the clear glass to create a paperweight. Top left: paperweight with a 'Nativity' scene, dated 1977. This millefiori paperweight was a special Christmas edition, and it displays a small Nativity scene. Top right: 'Partridge in a pear tree', dated 1978. Bottom left: concentric florette design, bottom right: paperweight with butterfly design.
