Moll Cut-Purse. An engraved portrait print of Mary Frith, known as 'Moll Cut-Purse', c.1584-1659. She was infamouse as a pickpocket, thief, forger, and was once described as 'Moll Cut-purse a notorious bagage'. She was the subject of several stage plays, notably 'The Roaring Girl, or, Moll Cutpurse', produced in 1611 by Thomas Middleton and Thomas Dekker.
