A Half Century's Change in London: View from a point near Waterloo Bridge in 1848, view from the same point in 1898. Two panoramas from a point slightly downstream of the north end of Waterloo Bridge looking across the Thames. Each has St Paul's on the extreme left and Westminster at the extreme right. The notable changes include a paddle steamer on the river, the replacement of Brunel's Hungerford suspension pedestrian bridge by the railway bridge, Cleopatra's Needle, and the completion of the new Houses of Parliament.
