Craft lessons at Tulse Hill Comprehensive. These pupils are learning the trade of typesetting and printing, preparing for an apprenticeship when they leave school. Tulse Hill Comprehensive for boys opened in 1956 in purpose-built grounds. The Headmaster Clifford Thomas joined the school from Dulwich College. He brought many traditions with him, including the wearing of gowns by all staff. Henry Grant also photographed other lessons at the school including painting and decorating, woodwork and physics. The school closed in 1990.
