Silk and linen dress, back view. Dress with closed robe, sleeves pleated at the elbow. Its bodice is lined in coarse linen and boned on either side of its front opening with fastening eyelets concealed behind robings. Yellow silk taffeta, probably a lustring, brocaded with coloured silks with some details self-coloured, formed by an interrruption of the ground weave. The flowers are treated naturalistically, typical for this period. The design has a drop reverse repeat. At the back of the dress is an end border with two green stripes across the silk. It is quite coarsely woven with decoupure of at least seven threads.
