Black cotton, long line corset, with opening at the centre front. The 12 eyelets on either side are made of whalebone busks and used for lacings. There are four metal rods at the centre back. Its shoulder straps are attached at the back and the front. It is strongly boned throughout, and is thought to have been a orthopeadic corset.
