An eclipse as seen over London in 1832. Lithograph. After his unsuccessful attempt to form a Ministry Wellington (in the sun) is eclipsed by Grey, holding the Reform Bill, and Brougham (in the moon). Observers with telescopes comment on 'how red and angry the Sun looks' and on 'the beautiful silver Grey there is over the Moon'.
