A View of the new Hungerford Market, taken from the Terrace. Etching and aquatint. Hungerford Market was designed by architect Charles Fowler. It was first built in 1680 and rebuilt in 1831. This view of the market shows its stalls selling fish, shellfish, flowers and sacks of grain.
