The Ruins of the Pantheon in Oxford Street after the Disastrous Fire of 14th January 1792. Oil opn canvas. This painting shows the ruinous state of James Wyatt's classical rotunda. The fire reveals the tea and supper rooms beneath and the roof tops of the houses in Great Marlborough St. which are visible from square openings in the upper part of the buildings.
