The Coronation Banquet of George IV in Westminster Hall, 1821. Oil on canvas. The scene shows Henry Dymoke riding up the hall between Deputy Earl Marshal and Lord High Constable in the ceremony of the challenge. Two rows of tables on either side are occupied by peers, peeresses and gentry seated in two tiers above and did not take part in banquet itself. The King sits at the far end of the Hall, still wearing the Crown.
