River Thames at Billingsgate Fish Market jetty. George Davison Reid took this photo of Billingsgate Fish Market Jetty looking out towards Tower Bridge. During the 1920s, fish was brought here by fast steam carriers from the North Sea. The two rigged vessels are Dutch eel 'schuyts'. Reid photographed the banks of the Thames extensively during the late 1920s and early 1930s.
