Bomb Damage at London Wall and Aldermanbury Avenue. This photo, taken in February 1941, shows areas around London Wall devastated by the severe Blitz raids of the previous months. Aldermanbury Avenue, where many textile and clothing manufacturers had premises, was largely destroyed in the attacks. Police Constables Arthur Cross and Fred Tibbs photographed the scene before the scrap metal was collected from the site and the buildings demolished.
