View looking north towards the Cotton Gardens Estate. The Cotton Gardens estate was built from 1966 by Wates for Lambeth Local Borough Council. It was a complicated design and use pre-fabricated construction methods. This photo was taken looking north towards the estate from Kennington Lane. It contributed to an exhibition, 'Tower Blocks: Love Them or Loath Them', held at the Museum of London in 1999.
