The tower block above the Arndale, now Wandsworth, Shopping Centre viewed behind the chimney of Young's Brewery. This residential tower block is seen from behind the chimney of Young's Brewery. The housing block was built above the Arndale Shopping Centre, which opened in 1971. Hagenbach and Chippendale designed the site to include three 21-storey towers and one 25-storey tower to accommodate local residents. The photo was shown as part of an exhibition focusing on estates and social housing, Tower Blocks: Love Them or Loath Them, held at the Museum of London in 1999.
