Medieval leather belt. This belt, in two pieces, has traces of silk covering - a technique not otherwise recorded - and three rows of brass mounts. The belt is unique among London finds both for the traces of silk covering and for the number of metal mounts still in place. From the Thames foreshore at Bankside.
