Blue wedding dress with white corset and underskirt. A three-piece wedding dress of blue watered silk and trimmed with lace. Its skirt is box-pleated at the sides and gathered at the back under the overskirt shaped like a continuation of the bodice. The corset is made of white ribbed cotton and has a glazed finished. The opening is placed at the centre front with two busks of thick whalebone which close with three engraved metal keyhole and stud fastenings. The opening at the centre back consists of eleven pairs of metal eyelets for lacing. The corset is handstitched throughout and the seams are embellished with herringbone stitch. The top edge is trimmed with white cotton lace threaded with blue silk ribbon.
