Selection of paper fans. On the top: paper painted with coloured engraving with watercolor washes. The bone sticks and guards have painted decorations of the Peace of Aix-la-Chapelle 1748. This fan dates from 1749. On the right: paper fan dated 1783-84 printed and enriched with colour washers. It also has applied silver spangles. This fan has plain bone sicks and guards. On teh left: printed paper fan commemorating The Great Exhibition, 1851.
