Black cotton, long line corset with opening at the centre front. The twelve eyelets either side of the two whalebone busks are used for lacings.There are four steel rods at centre back. The shoulder straps are attached at the back and the front. This corset is strongly boned throughout, and is thought to have been a orthopeadic corset. It is lined with thick grey cotton and it is machine stitched.
