Admission ticket to the Cremorne Gardens. This is an example of a subscriber's ticket which enabled admission to the Cremorne Gardens in Chelsea as well as the evening entertainment during the 1854 Season. The subscriber's name 'M Young Esq' is handwritten on the ticket which is attached within a blue leather cover stamped with a gilded Royal Crest above the words 'Cremorne Gardens 1854'. The actual ticket is printed on lilac paper and applied to the right hand side of the wallet when open. On the left is applied a sheet of green paper printed with a description of the facilities on offer at the gardens together with admission details.
