Portrait of a fireman. Coloured aquatint and etching. The figure in the centre is holding a pickaxe and a fire cap. He is wearing the dress of the Sun Fire Office with a badge. In the background is a hand operated fire engine manned by a group of firemen. One holds the hose on the RHS as a group of onlookers gather. This print was first published in Pyne's 'Costume of Great Britain', pl.4.
