N.U.W.S.S. members in West London, 1913. A pilgrimage of National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies' members left Market Cross in Carlisle for London on 18 June 1913 at 10.30am. They carried banners and a baggage cart decorated in red, white and green, which were the colours of the union. The procession included Lady Rochdale, Mrs Frank Marshall, Miss Dover, Miss Brootch and Miss Newling, who brought the Keswick banner with them. They arrived in London 26 July 1913, when this picture was taken.
