Traders in the London Metal Exchange. Inside the London Metal Exchange offices, these employees are 'ring trading'. Sitting around a central circle, trading firms deal in metals. The exchange specialises in non-ferrous metal including copper, zinc, tin and aluminium alloy. The company operated in purpose-built premises on Whittington Avenue in the City of London for 98 years. In 1980 it relocated to Plantation House in Fenchurch Street, before moving to Leadenhall Street in 1994.
