Collecting donations to aid Nigeria, Piccadilly Circus. Gathered in Piccadilly Circus, this group of people collected money for food for millions in Nigeria. Civil War in Nigeria started in 1967 and had led to mass starvation amongst its people. Volunteer charity groups such as Oxfam came to their aid. Oxfam arranged an Easter Fast lasting 100 hours. The money raised was used to help feed four million people. The fast was promoted in Piccadilly with handout leaflets detailing the cause.
