An employee of Edward Gerrard & Son's taxidermy firm works on a crocodile. This employee of Edward Gerrard & Son's taxidermy firm is working on a stuffed crocodile. Edward Gerrard Senior founded the business at 61 College Place, Camden. He had been resident taxidermist at the British Museum and was a friend to Charles Darwin. The business, which also supplied specimens to the film industry, worked on a great variety of animals, from flamingos to whales.
