A rickshaw at Franco - British Exhibition, London 1908. Rickshaw drivers were brought to London from Asia to work at White City. They transported visitors around the vast exhibition grounds. The rickshaws were a popular novelty attraction. Their presence brought an added authenticity to the Oriental and Indian style of the exhibition buildings.
