Court of Honour. Mounted colour postcard, titled 'Court of Honour', Japan - British Exhibition, 1910. The Court of Honour was the centrepiece of White City. It was 400 feet, over 120 metres long and surrounded by Oriental-and Indian-style exhibition pavilions. In the centre was a lake, spanned by a bridge. At one end of the court was the impressive Congress Hall, with its spectacular waterfall. At night 100,000 electric lights illuminated the court.
