Aero-motor goggles. Early cars offered little protection from the weather. Most were designed as open carriages to reduce their weight. Protective clothing, such as these goggles with amber-tinted lenses, shielded drivers and passengers from the weather and from muddy and dusty roads. They have 'Triplex Safety Glass STG' glass amber-tinted lenses and spring-loaded textile eye-pieces with simulated fur where they meet the face.
