Four metal tie-pins. A London teenager bought these four tie-pins at Woolworth's in the 1930s. Each represents a different phase of the young girl's life from adolescence to adulthood. The first was worn during her schooldays, the second when she went horse riding, the third when she attended secretarial college, the fourth when she began work as a secretary.
