Photographic suffragette portrait badges. Three round metal badges bearing photographs of from top to right: Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence; Christabel Pankhurst and Mrs Emmeline Pankhurst. The Women's Social and Political Union (W.S.P.U.) produced badges in large numbers bearing portraits of suffragette leaders. They were sold to supporters for one penny to raise funds for the campaign and to enhance the public profile of the W.S.P.U.
