Crimson silk velvet pistol holster faced with deep pink glazed linen with an open ended leather pocket attached at the back. This is accessed through a 165 mm wide opening in the front of the holster the edges of which are bound with silver gilt lace. A short length of linen thread has been roughly stitched to the centre back above the leather pocket. A short leather strap has been attached at the centre back below the pocket; one end of the strap has been rolled to form a toggle and the other end cut to create a button hole.
