Crimson velvet pistol pistol holster lined with deep pink glazed linen with an open ended leather pocket attached at the back. This is accessed through at opening in the front of the holster bound with silver gilt lace. A short length of linen thread has been roughly stitched to the centre back above the leather pocket; a short leather strap has been attached at the centre back below the pocket; one end of the strap has been rolled to form a toggle and the other end cut to create a button hole. Stitch marks and the remnants of thread suggest that another strap was once attached above the surviving strap,
