A small purse made of four shield-shaped panels. The edges are bound with laid silver-gilt thread and yellow silk in ladder stitch. A double drawstring of plaited pink silk runs through the top edge and is decorated with four knob-tassels of silver-gilt thread, worked in buttonhole stitch over a wooden core and finished with loops of silk and metal thread and tufts of silk lined with pale cream silk.
